Amazon Corporation announced their intention to execute delivery of cargos in the USA with the help of drones.In the announcement the company noted :”Our team, which includes hundreds of scientists, engineers, specialists in the sphere of aero cosmic technologies and futurologists, insistently strived to implement this (drone delivery) and later this year Amazon clients living in Lockford (Califonia) will be among the first who will receive a delivery from Prime Air.”
Amazon made their choice in favor of Lockford due to historical ties with aviation: one of the first aircraft manufacturers, Weldon Cook, was born there. And already this year, residents of a small settlement will be able to receive “thousands of everyday things” thanks to free delivery by drones.
As it was noted by the company, the development of the drone delivery service will create jobs and develop communication and cooperation on the ground, reports news.day.az.
