Almost 95% of voters in Turkmenistan cast their ballots for V. Putin

Sources at “Chronicles of Turkmenistan” reported the final voting results for the Russian Presidential Elections in Turkmenistan.

A total of 4156 people voted, of whom 3941 (94,8%) cast their ballots for the incumbent President Vladimir Putin.

A candidate from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Pavel Grudinin ranks 2nd with 76 votes (1,8%). The third place is taken by the leader of LDPR (Liberal Democratic Party of Russia) Vladimir Zhirinovsky, who received 47 votes. Kseniya Sobchak, who received 22 votes (0,5%) ranks 4th.

According to the CIC data, after processing 99,5% of the ballots Putin scored 76,6% of votes.

At the Presidential Elections in 2017 Putin’s Turkmen counterpart Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov secured 97,69% of the votes.
