Ak Depe Hyzmat Will Launch Production of Mozzarella Cheese

Ak Depe Hyzmat business society will be the first in Turkmenistan to establish the production of mozzarella cheese, Rysgal newspaper reported on Monday.

Ak Depe Hyzmat, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, is located in the Kypchak residential complex in Ashgabat and occupies a total area of 4.2 hectares.

Advanced technological equipment from leading European countries such as Austria, Italy, and Germany is installed at the company. The company employs dozens of specialists. The annual capacity of the company, which produces milk and various dairy products, is designed to process 1 thousand tons of milk.

Pasteurized 3.2% fat milk, kefir in 0.5 and 1-liter bottles, cream, ryazhenka (a traditional fermented milk product), yogurt, and sour cream are produced under the "Iner" trademark.

The milk used in the production is sourced from the Ajaýyp Ussat Halal Önümleri farm complex located in the Baherden district of Ahal province.

Mozzarella comes from the Italian word "mozzarella" and is a type of pulled cheese native to the region of Campania, Italy. Hard mozzarella, which belongs to Italian cuisine, is mainly used for cooking hot dishes.
