Pursuant to the decision by khyakim of Ashgabat Shamukhammet Durdylyev air conditioners, including those installed from the side of the backyards, are now being dismantled from residential buildings.
Last week air conditioners were removed from apartment blocks located along Ankara street (formerly, Yubileynaya street) at the intersection with Oguzkhan street (formerly, Aytakova street).
The inhabitants of residential buildings are outraged as they used “split systems” to heat their apartments.
Despite a sharp drop in outside temperatures, heating in many districts of the capital is irregularly supplied.
Correspondents of “Chronicles of Turkmenistan” have previously reported that worn-out heating pipes cracked in basements of apartment buildings.
Let us recall that Ashgabat residents had been previously prevented from installing external part of air conditioners on the external parts of the buildings, which are seen from main roads.
After that residents of apartment blocked moved air conditioners to the walls, which was allowed at that time, and began to hide air conditioners on the balconies and in entrance halls.
