The Football Federation of Turkmenistan (FFT) has announced Elman Tagayev, a striker for the “Ahal” football club, as the best player in the Premier League for October 2024.
Last month, the forward scored four goals in three championship matches. Tagayev scored twice in the game against “Altyn Asyr” (2:0), and also scored against “Ashgabat” (2:1) and “Kopetdag” (3:1).
The 26-year-old striker's effective performance helped “Ahal” strengthen its position in second place in the tournament table. After 27 rounds, the team has 61 points, 5 points ahead of “Altyn Asyr”, who are in third place. At the same time, the “communications” team has a game in hand.
Tagaev has scored 12 goals this season, which puts him in the top five scorers of the national championship.
