Afghan Delegation to visit Turkmenistan for Gas, TAPI Pipeline Talks

The delegation of Afghanistan will soon visit Turkmenistan to discuss TAPI project and talks on gas prices. This was reported by tolonews.com with reference to the official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan.

The Afghan Foreign Ministry said that a special committee was formed to carry out the practical work on the TAPI pipeline project. It was headed by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Afghanistan Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar.

It was also noted that in the nearest future a Delegation will go to Turkmenistan to discuss the project details.

“During a visit to Turkmenistan we plan to conduct meetings on the gas prices and implementation of projects in Herat and also the industrial parks”, Shafay Azam, an official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, said.
