Achievement of Turkmen agricultural complex and innovations in seed production are reviewed in Ashgabat

The Trade and Industrial Chamber hosted the exhibition of agricultural complex of the country and International Scientific conference “Reached levels and further objectives of seed production sphere of Turkmenistan”.

Such events always attracts the attention of representatives of business circles of the world by the opportunity to improve trade and economic relations with our country, which experiences rapid development of many branches including in agricultural complex.

Partnership between the state and private section has an important role in enhancement of production potential of agriculture in Turkmenistan, steadfast transit of agricultural complex to innovative way of development, expansion of variety of production.

All of these happens due to the government support of private sector by benefits and credits.Due to successfully implemented policy of support of local manufacturers, facilities for import substitutive agricultural products including fruit and vegetable farms, meat processing workshops and other are opened in the country.

Numerous multi-purpose and profile economic exhibitions held in our country, turkemn expositions organized abroad visually demonstrate wide range of production marked by international quality and eco-friendliness certificates. Made in Turkmenistan stamp became more known all over the world.

About 70 exhibitors including profile departments of the capital and velayats, members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and foreign companies working in our country demonstrate their production at the exhibition.

Current review reflects the success of turkemn agrarians, introduces the guests with capability of national agricultural complex, advanced equipment of the world famous companies, which are willing to offer their technological innovations for improvement of the potential in high quality import substitutive and export oriented agricultural production.

Representative of different ministries and departments, diplomatic corps accredited in Turkmenistan, public organizations, national and foreign business circles and mass media took part in the opening ceremony of profile exhibition. Delegates of XIV CIS Cultural and Scientific Personnel Forum, which is held these days in the country, were among special guests.

Considerable part of the exhibition is dedicated to establishment of import substitutive industrial and agricultural facilities based on the implementation of technological innovations to the production, which is one of priority direction of development of Turkmen business.

Production of child food, fruit and vegetables concentrates, juices, mayonnaise, ice-cream, canned food, fish delicacies, yoghurts, sausages, various confectionaries and snacks is arranged from eco-friendly local raw products.

Wide variety of fruits, vegetables, cucurbitaceous crops grown at the agricultural fields and hothouse farms, which received rapid development, is exhibited in exhibition halls. It was outlined by the leader of the nation among the main directions of import substitutive policy in agricultural complex.

Taking into account the requirements of rapidly growing Turkmen market, foreign exhibitors prepared significant package of proposals for technical provision of agricultural complex.

The exhibition of agricultural complex of Turkmenistan became an efficient ground for demonstration of its huge potential, wide capabilities for the implementation of advanced world practice.

The agenda of International scientific conference “Reached levels and further objectives of seed production sphere of Turkmenistan”, which was held at the Trade and Industrial Chamber in the afternoon, included such themes as creation of information and analytical system of management of seed production of the CIS, national developments in this sphere and perspective of future cooperation.

The participants of the meeting noted that seed production is an important factor of increment of grain production and food abundance respectively.At present time, big grain yields are produced in our country in the result of programme reforms.

In this context, it was noted that expansion of cooperation between Turkmen specialists and foreign partners in agrotechnical sphere especially in plant production is one of the main directions.

Representatives of national scientific and research institutes and production centre noted that natural and climate conditions of Turkmenistan provide the necessity of systematic developments and implementation of innovations to seed production. For example, Turkmen agrarians had big success in cultivation of new breeds of winter wheat and selection of high productive seeds of cotton.

Theme of one of the session was dedicated to scientific approaches to the introduction of new technologies to seed production of rice.Director of Russian Rice Institute, Doctor of Sciences, Professor Sergey Garkusha presented new methodology of production of big yields of this agricultural crop in climate conditions similar to the climate of Dashoguz velayat, which has the main rice plantations of Turkmenistan.

The participants of the conference noted that despite sharply continental climate and close location of desert, Turkmenistan successfully acquires and adapts advanced practice of the world agricultural leaders.Received knowledges for solution of different issues of development of national agricultural complex demonstrated that implementation of new scientific and technical achievements, advanced technologies expands the variety of production and export, which reflects in strengthening of positions of our country in global market.
