3.In Turkmenistan, the construction of a road bridge across the Garabogaz Bay is in full swing.It will become part of the “North-South” transport corridor, connecting the internal highway with the port of Turkmenbashy.
Work started in the summer of 2022.The bridge is designed to accommodate heavy vehicles weighing up to 40-50 tons.The project provides for 8 supports installed on 209 concrete piles.
The length of the bridge should be more than 200 meters, and the total length, including the supply roads, should be 2 kilometers.Completion of construction is scheduled for June 2024.
