A team from Turkmenistan won gold at the International Science and Inventions Fair

The Turkmen team, which performed for the first time at the International Science and Invention Fair (ISIF) on the Indonesian island of Bali, won gold medals and the Winner's Cup.

According to the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, the Turkmen team consisted of two 3rd year students of the International University of Humanities and Development (IUHD) Ahmet Akyev and Sapardurdy Berdyev under the guidance of a teacher of the department of “Modern Computer Technologies” Musa Yazymov.

The IUHD team presented a scientific project entitled “From scarcity to sustainable development: how technology can help save water, combat drought and climate change”.

A total of 800 students from 22 countries took part in this youth forum - representatives of different levels of education, who performed in the relevant categories.

The ISIF international event for students and professional educators is organized annually by the Indonesian Young Scientists Association (IYSA) and the Indonesian International Institute of Life Sciences with the support of the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture, the source notes.
