The music TV contest of young vocalists of Turkmenistan “Star of the Year”, which lasted for several months, has summed up its results. Its final show with the participation of representatives of all regions and the capital was broadcasted on the national music TV and radio channel.
TV viewers and radio listeners from all over the country voted for performers via SMS during the competition, and at the finish of the singing marathon, masters of the Turkmen music scene and famous cultural figures also added their votes in favor of a particular soloist.
Leyli Okdirova was recognized as the undisputed winner of this year artistic competition.In 2017, she took the second place in the singing competition, and now a participation of the performer with a lot of unique talents, one of which is the ability to sing gorgeously both in her native language and in several foreign languages, has ended in triumph.
