As reported by newscentralasia.net, this initiative will be implemented within the framework of the UNODC Program for Central Asia for 2022-2025 with financial support from the Government of the Russian Federation.

The main goal of the project is to support the further development of the Regional Youth Network, which was created in 2021 at the first stage of the initiative.

The meeting was attended by more than 40 young leaders and representatives of national and international organizations involved in the prevention of drug use and psychoactive substances among young people.

In addition, the Round Table is designed to build a bridge of cooperation between youth and government organizations and civil society working in the field of drug addiction prevention and responsible for the well-being of younger generations, the source notes.
