A representative delegation from Turkmenistan visited Venice to participate in a significant event - the presentation of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov’s book “The Spiritual World of the Turkmen”, published in Italian.
The delegation included: Chairman of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan A. Serdarov, Director of the National Institute of Language, Literature and Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan D. Orazsahedov, Director of the Arkadag City Library named after D. Azadi Aylar Nurmammedova, as well as artists of Turkmenistan.
Chairman of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan A.Serdarov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Italy T.Komekov were received by the President of the Veneto region Luca Zaia.
During the meeting, issues on deepening relations between Turkmenistan and the Italian Republic in various fields, in particular political, economic, cultural and humanitarian, as well as through party organizations, were discussed.
Within the framework of the visit, the delegation of Turkmenistan visited one of the largest cultural complexes in Venice, Palazzo Querini Stampaglia. This was reported by the press service of the Turkmen Embassy in Italy.
