A representative delegation from Iran visited Mary velayat

Within the framework of the visit to Turkmenistan, members of the official government delegation of the Khorasan-Razavi province of the Islamic Republic of Iran visited the Mary velayat.

The visit, which was held on January 23-24, began with a tour of the Ancient Merv Historical and Cultural State Reserve, reports the IIC.

Then the guests were given a tour of the city of Mary and visited the Gurbanguly Haji Mosque.

Within the framework of the visit, a meeting was organized in the hyakimlik of the velayat.

Then a partnership meeting was organized with the participation of representatives of the business community of the two countries, where an active exchange of views took place on the further development of cooperation. Representatives of the province of Khorasan-Razavi got acquainted with the various goods produced by entrepreneurs of Mary velayat.

Also, members of the Iranian delegation visited the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan and the Historical and Local Lore Museum of Mary velayat, the source notes.
