Within the framework of the XXV International Festival of Russian Theaters “Meetings in Russia”, which takes place in St. Petersburg, the IV International Conference “Russian Theater Abroad as an Institute of Russian Culture” was held.
Directors, artistic directors and chief directors of theaters from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan spoke at the forum.
According to the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova addressed the participants of the conference via video link; The guests of the forum were also welcomed by Special Representative of the President of Russia for International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoy.
