A photo exhibition will open tomorrow at the Cultural Center of Iran in Ashgabat. The event is dedicated to the 43rd anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.
Photos of the Iran's achievements will be presented to the Turkmen public.
"Iran is a country with a rich cultural heritage, developed architecture, industry, medicine, miniature books and decorative and applied arts. Through this educational project, we want to present the depth and wealth of the people with a thousand-year history to the residents and guests of Ashgabat," the organizers of the exhibition said.
The 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran is one of the most important events of the 20th century, which had great historical significance not only for the Middle East region, but also for the whole world.
The main result was the abolition of the monarchy and the establishment of the Islamic Republic headed by Ayatollah Khomeini (the supreme leader of Iran from 1979 to 1989).
This event was a serious impetus for a powerful impulse in the dynamics of modern Iranian art and the whole culture.
The exhibition will last until February 10, 2022.
