Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Armenia Muhammetgeldi Ayazov, opening the event, noted that the brilliant poet, philosopher and thinker Magtymguly Fragi left his descendants an immortal literary heritage that has become part of world culture and the property of all mankind.

The ambassador also reminded that the works of Magtymguly Fragi were translated into Armenian and published in 1959, 1983 and 2014. Among the guests was the poet-translator Varuzhan Hastur, the author of brilliant translations from the original. At Ayazov's request, Hastur recited one of his translations.
