In the city of Dostluk, Lebap velayat, on the eve of the International Day of Neutrality, the grand opening of a new plant for the production of dry building mixtures of the “Ak Bulut” economic society was held.
The implementation of the project was made possible thanks to government support for the development of the private sector of the economy and business initiatives in Turkmenistan.
The enterprise, covering an area of 5 hectares, is equipped with modern equipment and technologies from the world's leading manufacturers. The plant plans to produce up to 50 thousand tons of building mixtures and 4 million square meters of drywall per year.
Products will be supplied both to the domestic market and exported to countries near and far abroad. Increasing the company's production capacity will permit increasing export volumes and increasing the competitiveness of Turkmenistan in the global construction materials market.
The new enterprise will also create additional jobs for residents of the region.
The “Ak Bulut” company was founded in 2015. It produces acoustic and aluminum suspended ceilings, as well as vinyl-coated gypsum ceilings. At present time, the enterprise's capacity has reached 4 million square meters of suspended ceilings per year. In addition, up to 7 thousand tons of galvanized metal profiles are produced per year.
The company's building materials are widely used in the construction of facilities for various purposes. For example, in the “Ashgabat” shopping and entertainment center, suspended ceilings and “Ak Bulut” profile systems were used. Materials from the economic society were widely used in the construction of the first stage of the city of Arkadag.
