During the meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov with the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Ashgabat Akmaljon Kuchkarov, issues of further development of Turkmen-Uzbek relations were discussed.
As reports the Turkmen Foreign Ministry, further steps were considered to implement the agreements reached at the highest level during the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
An exchange of views also was on improving the legal framework for the implementation of the agreements reached, in particular, roadmaps for enhancing political dialogue, inter-parliamentary and trade and economic cooperation, cultural and humanitarian exchange, and for the implementation of investment projects and interaction in trade.
