A meeting was held at the IIR of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with a UN expert on transport

At the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, a meeting was held with the representative of the UN Center for Transport Diplomacy Igor Runov, who arrived in Ashgabat on a working visit. This was reported by the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.

During his stay in the Turkmen capital, Runov held a number of working meetings and round tables in the transport and customs departments of the country, where topical issues of transport and logistics relations between Turkmenistan and the region were discussed.

On the final day of the visit, an experienced specialist in transport diplomacy visited the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Runov’s meeting with the faculty and students of the institute was held in the assembly hall.

During the engaged dialogue, special attention was paid to the achievements of Turkmenistan in the development of the transport and logistics system at the international and regional levels. Issues of cooperation to improve transport connections between countries through infrastructure development in Turkmenistan and the region were also discussed.

At the end of the meeting, the vice-rector of the Institute, G. Yusupova, and the head of the department, Perhat Charyev, introduced the guest to the educational centers and museum of the university.
