A training session on water diplomacy was held at the Training Center for Priority Areas of Diplomacy of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. This was reported in the publication ashgabat.in.
The purpose of the lesson is to increase the educational, methodological, contractual and legal, scientific awareness of the future specialty of students of the optional classes "Water diplomacy".
The training was conducted by the Adviser of the Department for International Organizations, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan M. Akmuradov, who examined in detail the role and importance of resolving key issues of water diplomacy in the field of international relations and the 26th UN International Conference on Climate Change.
He noted that the resolution of various tasks of energy, transport and water resources contributes to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals of the Concept of the Foreign Policy of Neutral Turkmenistan for 2017-2023.
There was also a discussion of the program of the 26th UN Conference on Climate Change, taking place in Glasgow.
