1.A meeting of the Presidium of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan was held in Ashgabat, chaired by the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.Representatives of various industries and public organizations took part in the meetings.

4.A meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the participation of the Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and the heads of foreign affairs departments of the Central Asian states.
The parties discussed important topics of regional security, sustainable development and stability, including in the field of border security, climate change and ecology, as well as transport.
5.Turkish Ambassador to Turkmenistan Togan Oral, who will soon complete his diplomatic mission, expressed gratitude to the Turkmen side for its hospitality at the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the proclamation of the Turkish Republic in Ashgabat.
The head of the diplomatic mission expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Turkmen friends who brightened up his stay in Ashgabat and made it an unforgettable place for him, his wife Dunya and son Jan, who was born in the Turkmen capital.
6. A joint Turkmen-Iranian tourism festival opened in the exhibition hall of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan. Representatives of travel companies from two countries took part in the forum. Each travel company presented its stand and the services it provides.

7.From January 15, 2024, entry to the Istanbul Hagia Sophia Mosque will be paid for foreign tourists.For Turkish citizens visiting the mosque for worship, entry will remain free.
The decision to charge entry to the Hagia Sophia Mosque for foreign tourists was made in accordance with UNESCO recommendations.The organization called on Turkish authorities to develop a “visitation management plan” for the mosque.
8.Uzbekistan has abolished the procedure for mandatory declaration of jewelry by individuals if their value does not exceed 100 million soums.Corresponding changes to the legislation were made by decree of the President of Uzbekistan dated October 31, 2023.
According to the document, individuals can export finished jewelry worth up to 100 million soums from the customs territory of Uzbekistan without filling out a passenger customs declaration.
