A judoka from Turkmenistan won a gold medal at the international junior tournament in Almaty

Maysa Pardayeva, the representative of Turkmenistan, won a gold medal at the Asian Judo Cup among juniors in the weight category up to 57 kg, which ended in Kazakhstan. Pardayeva defeated Moldir Beysenova from Kazakhstan in the final bout.

Zhanar Zholdosheva (Kyrgyzstan) and Uldana Usein (Kazakhstan) won bronze medals.The tournament dedicated to the memory of Beket Mahmutov was held on May 14-15 in Almaty. 205 judoists from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and the USA took part in this competition.

The winners and prize-winners of the competitions received points in the world ranking in accordance with the IJF rules.The winners of the tournament are awarded 100 points, the silver medalists received 60, and the bronze ones received 40 points.
