Tylla sang three pieces expressing strikingly different emotions. The second piece, “Once Again, as Before, I am Alone” by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky was filled with overwhelming sadness, melancholy, and a sense of despair. The second composition, “Ayna’s Song”, by Nury Khalmamedov evoked joy, hope and enthusiasm. And every time Tylla demonstrated an amazing versatility.

Violinists and pianists put all their energy and enthusiasm into their renditions to capture the slightest nuances of the pieces and to get the listeners in a romantic mood in tune with the festive spirit of the New Year’s holiday season.
And they accomplished the task perfectly well. The concert was good practice for students in honing their ensemble skills. And it is safe to say that they were able to perform brilliantly.
