A conference on the preservation of spiritual heritage was held as part of the Culture Week of Turkmenistan

The third day of the Culture Week of Turkmenistan continued with a conference on the preservation of spiritual heritage, which was held in the Dovletmammet Azadi Library in the city of Arkadag.

The participants of the event - workers in the sphere of culture and education, library specialists, poets, prose writers and journalists discussed issues of preserving the spiritual heritage, its wide popularization in the world, and organizing cultural and educational activities at the modern level, TDH reports.

Particular attention was paid to such topics as deepening international scientific dialogue, fundamental transformations taking place in the country, and popularization of the cultural heritage of the Turkmen people an integral part of the spiritual treasury of humanity.

In this context, an interested exchange of views took place on the significance of the work of the great humanist poet Magtymguly Fragi and translations of his works.Their vivid imagery, ideological orientation and amazing metaphorical nature were illustrated by lines from famous poems that were spoken during the forum.

The speeches emphasized that Magtymguly, who dedicated his life to serving enduring universal human values, is one of the important personalities of the spiritual and intellectual world process.It was stated that the significance of the work of the outstanding classic, which had a great influence on the development of artistic thought of the peoples of the world, goes beyond national borders and requires further in-depth and comprehensive study.

The creative marat”on of festive events included a colorful joint performance by students of special music and secondary special arts schools in the country, which took place at the Specialized School of Arts named after Sakha Dzhepbarov.

The third day of the Culture Week ended at the capital’s National Music and Drama Theater named after Magtymguly, where the opera performance “Magtymguly” was shown.
