Vietnamese and Turkmen business structures strengthen business cooperation, VNA information Agency notes.
In this meaning Vietnamese-Turkmen forum held in Hanoi on June 29 become an ideal area for enterprises of both sides in search of opportunities of cooperation in the nearest future. It was stated on the forum by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Vepa Hajiev.
Forum became a part of the range of events dedicated to the delegations of more than 40 representatives visit.
In his address on the forum V. Hajiev marked that great efforts taken by Turkmenistan for the development of diplomatic relations and economic cooperation between countries for the last 30 years.
He underlined the necessity of activization of trade exchanges and attracting investments between both countries.At present time Turkmenistan possesses a lot of advantages in such spheres like natural gas, cotton, fabrics and carpets of all types.
Moreover, the country has a potential to produce such products as tea, coffee and seafood that can fulfill a domestic demand of Turkmenistan.
The Vice-President of the Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in his address marked that in the period from 1991 to 2021, the country registered the highest average annual GDP growth rate in the world - about 7%.
Despite the negative consequences of COVID-19 pandemic, Vietnam was one of the little number of countries with the GDP growth rate, exceeding 2.58% last year; the country demonstrated growth for 5.03% in the first quarter and 6% in the second quarter of this year.
Alongside with such advantages like political stability, high number of qualified specialists, transport infrastructure and speedy digitalization, Vietnam also become an attractive country for foreign direct investments.To this day, investors from 139 countries invested more than 420 milliards of US dollars to Vietnam.
Last year some leading corporations of the world, such as LG, Samsung, Intel and LEGO have invested significant funds into Vietnam despite the problems related with COVID-19, VNS marks.
