President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a video-conference meeting with the khyakims of regions and Ashgabat.The meeting agenda focused on the priority areas of the social and economic development of the country, the progress of the agricultural campaigns as well as the preparations for the cotton picking campaign.

Underlining the importance of taking the very responsible approach to address the tasks on the further comprehensive development of the Turkmen capital, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that all municipal services should work on the proper level.

Expressing dissatisfaction with the low level of preparation of cotton harvesters, tractors and other equipment, the President demanded the Ahal Velayat Khyakim to analyze the situation and take the necessary measures to correct it.
Moreover, the Turkmen leader instructed to take all necessary measures to complete the construction works in the region on time and at the high level, to prepare for the new school year and the winter heating season.
Speaking about the implementation of the National Rural Programme, the President expressed dissatisfaction with the paces of construction works in the Kaakha, Serakhs and Tejen etraps in the velayat and instructed the Ahal Velayat Khyakim to take the quality of construction works and compliance with time schedule under the strict control.
Balkan Velayat Khyakim, Y.Gylydjov reported on the measures taken to organize the seasonal agricultural works, in particular, the preparations for the forthcoming winter grain sowing campaign.Speaking about the implementation of the National rural programme, the khyakim of the western region reported on the progress of construction works.
Commenting on the report, the President of Turkmenistan dwelled upon on the agricultural issues, first of all, the upcoming winter crops sowing campaign.Expressing dissatisfaction with the low level of readiness of tractors, trucks and other equipment, the Turkmen leader demanded the Balkan Velayat Khyakim to take the appropriate measures to improve the situation.

Addressing Balkan Velayat Khyakim Y.Gylydjov, the President focused on the low paces of construction of new facilities in the etraps of Turkmenbashi, Bereket and Etrek, and demanded to take immediate measures to eliminate the shortcomings.

Commenting on the results of the meeting, the President once again outlined the range of primary tasks to the velayat khyakims, and instructed them to make the appropriate conclusions and establish the proper work on sites.
