President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received the President Energy System and Plant Development of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd.Tatsuya Watanabe.Greeting the head of the State, the guest who arrived in our capital by the first direct flight of Turkmen airlines from Tokyo, expressed the gratitude for the opening of this flight, which undoubtedly would support the expansion of economic, cultural and humanitarian relations between two countries.
He has also shared pleasant impression of the level of comfort and service onboard Boeing 777 200 LR, which made this flight, having expressed the confidence that Japanese passengers businessmen, specialists and tourists, which flow to Turkmenistan would grow now, would also appreciate this.
Tatsuya Watanabe stated the intent of his company to cooperate with Turkmenistan on long-term basis, having noted that business circles of Japan show keen interest in perspective Turkmen market, where the most favourable conditions for growing of business were established.
Having highlighted that Turkmenistan also aims at beneficial partnership with the biggest companies from Japan, which has significant experience in different branches and taking leading positions in the world in innovative technologies, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed satisfaction with the dynamics of Turkmen Japanese cooperation.
In this context, special attention has been paid to the plan for production of gasoline from natural gas, which has been built with participation of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd in Ahal Velayat.
This large project, which has been completed on the investments of Japanese side and the State Concern Turkemngaz, made the base for new direction of cooperation.It was mentioned that opening of similar facilities is one of the key factors of further development of the economy of the country, enhancement of its technological reliability, expansion and diversification of sale markets of hydrocarbon resources, stimulation of development of all branches of national economy.
Being the largest facility in the world for production of gasoline from natural gas, the plant, which is about to be opened, will male significant contribution to the economy of Turkmenistan.
Perspectives of realization of other joint projects in some directions, in particular in petrochemical sphere, power energy, construction materials industry as well as investment sphere have been discussed.The guest said that Kawasaki is interested in expansion of cooperation with Turkmenistan and willing to present its experience and latest echnological developments.
Having highlighted the commitment of Turkmenistan to the course of beneficial international cooperation, the President invited the head of Japanese company to take part in the first Caspian Economic Forum.
In the end of the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan and representative of Japanese company expressed the confidence in steadfast development of cooperation.
