Opening ceremony of the General Consulate of Turkmenistan is held in Dubai (The United Arab Emirates).Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finances Sheikh Hamad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-premier, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, Ambassador the United Arab Emirates to Turkmenistan Hassan Abdullah Al Adhab, UAE officials and foreign diplomats, representatives of mass media took part in the opening ceremony of the General Consulate.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov said: “This important event is a bright example of steadfast development of friendly relations between Turkmenistan and UAE”.
He has also noted an important role of expansion of full-scale partnership of Turkmen Emirati Intergovernmental Commission.General Consul of Turkmenistan to UAE Yhlasgeldy Amanov highlighted in his speech that opening of the General Consulate in Dubai would make a considerable contribution to development of Turkmen Emirati relations in all spectrum of cooperation.
It was noted that activity of Turkmen diplomatic missions in foreign countries is based on the principles of friendship, fraternity, cooperation and mutual support.After the ceremony of hoisting of the State Flag of Turkmenistan, the guests of the event took part in official reception on occasion of the opening of the General Consulate of Turkmenistan to UAE.
