2023: Trade Turnover Between Turkmenistan and Russia Increased by 13%

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin announced that last year, mutual trade turnover between Russia and Turkmenistan increased by 13 percent, reaching 678 million tons. He made this statement during a meeting with the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, on Thursday in Kazan.

Husnullin added that during the corresponding period, Russia's exports to Turkmenistan increased by 11 percent (to 542 million tons), while the country's imports rose by 22 percent (to 136 million tons), reports the press service of the Government of the Russian Federation.

"Our countries are actively working to strengthen bilateral relations in many areas. I thank the leadership of Turkmenistan for strengthening the friendly relations between our countries," said Marat Khusnullin.

As part of his visit to Kazan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also visited the Russia Halal Expo.
