The administrative center of Mary velayat has hosted an opening ceremony of the specialized clinic Hospital of Internal Diseases.The ceremony was timed to coincide with Healthcare Workers’ Day celebrated in Turkmenistan on July 21.
The hospital is equipped with everything necessary for administering medical aid to patients, making early diagnosis of latent diseases, as well as for disease prevention and medical treatment.The 205-bed complex, an in-patient hospital, has the departments of surgery, general therapy, cardiology, endocrinology, and neurology.

Exercise therapy rooms are equipped with special exercise and training devices.In-patient wards have air-conditioning systems, television and refrigerators.On the fourth floor there are two departments of surgery with three operating rooms tooled with high-precision endoscopic apparatus, including equipment for performing minimally invasive operations from Karl Storz, a well-known German company.
The devices from this manufacturer offer the advantage of digital recording, and archiving images and videos.Innovative systems, Fabius Tiro, from Dräger, and Heyer Medikal AG equipment will be used for anesthesia and artificial pulmonary ventilation, and will allow performing several major operations simultaneously.
