President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Executive Vice-President of Mitsubishi Corporation Hiroshi Sakuma, Senior Vice President of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Engineering, Ltd.Shigehisa Kobayashi and CEO of the Çalik Holding group of companies Ahmet Çalik.

Thanking for the opportunity of a personal meeting, the guests congratulated the Turkmen leader on putting the largest in the region carbamide fertilizer production complex into operation.The businessmen addressed the best wishes to the President of Turkmenistan and the people of Turkmenistan on occasion of the forthcoming 27th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence.

The leader of Turkmenistan emphasized that the strategy of the fundamental modernization of the national economy prioritized the development of the international cooperation as well as introduction of innovative technologies and world best practices.

The President underlined that the implementation of the ambitious project on the construction of the complex with the active participation of the old-term partners the consortium of the Japanese company - Mitsubishi Corporation and the Turkish company - Gap Inşaat Yatirim ve Diş Ticaret A.Ş.

would become another important step in enhancing the potential of one of the strategic branches of the national economy the domestic industry.The meeting participants exchanged the views on the prospects for the development of the business partnership.

Particular attention was paid to the technologies of famous companies used in joint projects.Underlining the significant role of businessmen from Japan and Turkey in the successful implementation of the programmes on the social and economic development of the country, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed satisfaction with the enormous potential to enhance cooperation.

Demonstrating the interest of the companies Mitsubishi Corporation and Gap Inşaat Yatirim ve Diş Ticaret A.Ş.in widening cooperation on the Turkmen market, the guests submitted a number of new proposals to the President of Turkmenistan for consideration.
