An online meeting of the "Turkmenistan-USA" Business Council focused on the key aspects of trade and economic cooperation.
The meeting brought together the members of the Government of Turkmenistan, heads of key ministers and departments of our country, senior representative of the United States Department of State Jonathan Henick, Executive Director of the Turkmenistan-US Business Council Eric Stewart and heads of American companies - members of the Council, in particular, John Deere, Case New Holland, Westport Trading Ltd., Caterpillar, Oxbow, S2Global, Visa, Boeing among others.
The importance of diversifying the economic partnership between Turkmenistan and the United States, where investment, technological and financial directions occupy a special place, was underlined during the meeting.
The importance of the "Turkmenistan - USA" Business Council in the development of mutually beneficial relations between the two countries was emphasized. Created in 2008 at the initiative of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Business Council has become an effective mechanism for establishing and strengthening relations between business structures of Turkmenistan and the United States.
The Council holds annual meetings in Ashgabat or in one of the US cities. As part of today's meeting, separate online meetings were also held between the heads of leading American companies, the agricultural complex and the banking system of Turkmenistan.
