140 Turkmen and foreign companies, organizations and institutions, private entrepreneurs are expected to participate in the XXII International Universal Exhibition “White City Ashgabat”.
This was announced at a government meeting by Deputy Prime Minister Baymyrat Annamammedov, speaking with a report on preparations for cultural events planned on the occasion of Ashgabat City Day, which is celebrated on May 25.
The purpose of the annual exhibition is to present the unique beauty of the white marble capital, the achievements of various branches of the national economic complex of Turkmenistan, as well as the economic, cultural and educational potential of the city.
The exhibition is traditionally organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the hyakimlik of Ashgabat.
In commemoration of the City Day, it is also planned to hold festive concerts, solemn meetings and creative meetings.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, addressing the participants of the meeting, noted the importance of the annually organized international exhibition, which demonstrates the ongoing large-scale work to turn the Turkmen capital into one of the most beautiful and comfortable cities in the world.
The Head of State instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure a high level of holding the exhibition and other festive events.
