135 young Turkmen citizens will become laureates of the country’s Youth Prize

The selection of candidates for the Youth Prize of Turkmenistan has been completed. From 506 nominees, the expert commission selected 135 laureates, whose award ceremony will take place on November 16. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva at a government meeting, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

The competition was organized by the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization among young citizens who have demonstrated themselves in promoting state policy, education, science and other sectors.

Representatives from all regions of the country, including the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, participated in the selection.

Commenting on the preparations for the award ceremony, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed the importance of supporting talented youth and promised to continue to create the necessary conditions for the development of young people who demonstrate a creative approach in various fields of activity.

The country is effectively working to develop educated, erudite youth who respect the national heritage. We will continue to create the necessary conditions for young people who achieve success in various fields and show creativity in everything, the head of state noted, instructing to ensure a high level of the award ceremony.
