President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the Akhalteke Equestrian Complex, where he spent time riding and working on a new book.The President concerned with the housing conditions of horses.

This equestrian center is an evidence of how trembling and touching love is to these glorious creatures of nature in Turkmenistan.Here it does a great job for preserving the breed purity of the “heavenly” horses, improving their exterior and increasing the elite livestock.

On the initiative and under the leadership of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the country consistently implements target-oriented program on the further development of the horse-breeding branch, its infrastructure improvement, activization of international cooperation in this area, promotion of various types of equestrian sport and national tradition of horse riding.

The result of this work is the modern equestrian complexes, built in Turkmenistan, where all the conditions are created for the race, equestrian sport and the national games.Modern centers of excellence are opened for training of professional breeders, coachers, expert riders.

A silhouette of a horse is depicted on the emblem of the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, which in a matter of days will be opened in Ashgabat.

On the initiative of the head of state the “Ashgabat 2017” Games program contains the show-jumping, which will afford an opportunity to worthily continue the glorious path of Akhalteke horses in equestrian sports.

Visiting fosterlings of the equestrian complex, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov made a horse ride on Gujurly racer.Currently, major efforts are conducted on the horse-breeding development, and “heavenly” horses’ herd expansion.

With direct involvement and on the initiative of the head of state, Turkmenistan has turned into a venue for running various-level events.Major international organizations, involved with the Akhalteke horse-breeding, and industry experts visit the Homeland of famous horses to adopt the experience of pure breeding.

During the visit of the equestrian complex, the head of state engaged in creative work.The President led to the state-policy level the Akhalteke breed reputation and fame augmentation management, our ancestors’ art propaganda in the world of horse-breeding, substantiated by his books, translated into many languages and been very popular among specialists in the horse-breeding field.
