13.03.2018 | Ahal football club has the first victory in the main round of Asian FootballConfederation Cup

Ahal football club confidently won the Champion of Kyrgyzstan Alay in the playoff of the Asian Confederation Cup.The match was held in the capital stadium Ashgabat.After offensive lost in away match against Tajik club, the players of Ahal were eager to demonstrate better game, Head Coach of the team Rovshen Meredov said during the press conference.

Playing at home, our sportsmen have not disappointed the expectation of numerous fans who gathered in the stands.From the first minutes, Turkmen team started attacking the opponents.

However, it was the 27th minute when Ahal forward Suleyman Muhadov scored the goal after precise pass of Guvanch Abylov, having placed the ball directly to the lower corner of the goals.

After six minutes, S.Muhadov made double owing to accurate pass of M.Annayev.After, g.Abylov hit the ball bounced from the bar and scored the third goal.

The first half ended up with confident victory of Ahal with 3:0 score.After the break, the guests made several attacks, however they did not bring any results.

On the 68th minutes, Guvanch Abylov placed the ball in the close corner of the opposing gteam.Forward Nuryagdy Muhammedov, who replaced S.Muhadov, bring the score to the devastating victory on the second minute of additional time.

The final whistle of the referee from Iraq Zayid Tamer Mohammed fixed the victory of our team with 5:0 score.Therefore, having scored three points, Ahal caught up with capital Altyn Asyr and Tajik Istiklol, which would meet in second round match in Balkanabat on March 14.
