President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held offsite session of the State Security Council with participation of the leaders of military and law enforcement agencies in the conference hall of new complex of Avaza frontier post in Balkan Velayat.
Speaking of the agenda of the session, the President of the country highlighted that Turkmenistan as a sovereign state would continue taking care of combating capability of the Armed Forces of the country that are the guarantor of peace and life of Turkmen people.
Military doctrine, which is entirely of defensive character, is aimed at solution of this objective.First, Secretary of the State Security Council made report on current work and successful implementation of military reform.
Generally, having expressed the satisfaction of the course of large transformation in this sphere, the Head of Turkmenistan pointed at the necessity of intensifying of work for patriotic education of young military personnel.
The Head of the State defined the creation of the condition for successful service and comfortable life of military personnel and their families is among the most important directions for coming period.
Having stressed the attention on the issues of preparation to military parade on occasion of the Independence Day, Supreme Commander Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave specific assignments for its organization on high level.
Next, Minister of Internal Affairs I.Mulikov made report on work carried out for improvement of public order, prevention of crimes and road transport accidents.Head of the Border Guard Service B.

Atdayev reported on activity of prosecution departments for provision of law in all spheres of state and social life.Minister of National Security D.Bayramov spoke with report in practical measures for support of social and political stability.
Chairman of the State Custom Service Ya.Soyegov made report on measures aimed at further improvement of the activity of his department.Chairman of the State Migration Service M.
Nobatov, who spoke after, gave report on provision of efficient activity of his department under realization of important priority of the state policy the expansion of international cooperation.Director of the State Anti-Economic Crimes Service M.
Chakiyev reported on implementation of relative programme for counteractions against the corruption.Minister of Justice B.Muhammedov reported on the activity of the ministry under his jurisdiction.
Having listened to all reports, the President of Turkmenistan pointed the attention at the utmost objectives of military and law enforcement agencies of the country.Having highlighted the role of these structures in provision of most favourable conditions for further promotion of fundamental reforms and progressive changes in the country, the Head of the State pointed at the necessity of permanent improvement of the activity of security forces.
Having highlighted the importance of systematic work for military and patriotic education of the personnel of security forces, improvement of professionalism of military staff, expansion of their knowledge as well as enforcement of the discipline, the Supreme Commander addressed number of the assignments to the members of the State Security Council of the country.
Having highlighted preparation to the Independence Day of Turkmenistan among other subjects, which includes important state activities during celebration, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave number of specific instructions for provision of high level of all planned activities and support of public order.
After, on behalf of all military staff, the Head of the State Border Guard Service B.Gundogdiyev expressed deep gratitude to the Supreme Commander for his attention paid to the consolidation of National Army that recently receives top modern military equipment as well as for the care of all soldiers and officers and assured him that they would put all efforts for strict and timely fulfilment of all large-scale objectives.
Being guided by the Military doctrine, which was elaborated taking into account neutral status of the country according to its foreign policy course, the State would continue systematically consolidating equipment and facilities base of military and law enforcement agencies, taking care of personnel by taking all measures for the improvement of their service and life, - Turkmen leader has said.
Having cordially congratulated the participants on the opening of new complex of frontier post facilities and wished them strong health and success, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces left the place of event. *** In the afternoon, Turkmen leader, having accomplished working visit to Balkan Velayat, arrived in Ashgabat.
In the International Airport of the capital, the Head of the State was met by the officials the Chairperson of the Mejlis, Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, leaders of military and law enforcement agencies and the Hyakim of Ashgabat.
Having welcomed President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the participants congratulated him on successful working visit to Sochi where Turkmen leader took part in regular session of the heads of the CIS countries as well as on completion of working visit to Balkan Velayat.
It was also mentioned that publication of new book by the Head of the State “Turkmenistan the Heart of the Great Silk Road”, which presentation takes place in all regions of the country these days, is another considerable input to revival and popularization of rich historical heritage of Turkmen people.
It was highlighted that new book of the President has special value in spiritual and moral and patriotic education of young generation.In the end, the participants wished the President of Turkmenistan strong health, longevity, inspiration and success in all his beginnings.
