The opening ceremony of the exhibition of works of decorative and applied arts of the Turkmen people took place in the exhibition hall "Constantin Brancusi" in the Palace of Parliament in Bucharest.
Bucare Brancusi" on September 10.The event was organized by the Embassy of our country in Bucharest together with the Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Romania-Turkmenistan.Head of the Inter-Parliamentary Turkmen-Romanian Friendship Group, Istvan-Janoš Antal and the deputies of the Romanian parliament, representatives of ministries and departments, heads and specialists of diplomatic missions accredited in Bucharest, ambassadors of Romania, who worked in our country in different years, workers of culture and arts, students, the media, as well as local citizens and guests of the Romanian capital attended the ceremony.
Welcoming all those present, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Romania Annamammet Annaev and Chairman of the Inter-Parliamentary Turkmen-Romanian Friendship Group, Istvan-Janoš Antal emphasized that the exhibition would significantly contribute to the expansion of humanitarian cooperation between the two friendly countries.
The exposition in the exhibition hall "Constantin Brancusi" tells about the historical and cultural heritage of the Turkmen people.The collection of works of the decorative and applied arts includes carpets, samples of traditional clothes and original hand-made embroidery, jewelry and national musical instruments.
The exhibition also presents the works of Turkmen painters.The works by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov occupy an honorable place in the exposition.The gastronomic traditions of the Turkmen people are also presented at the exhibition.
Guests are treated with the best dishes of the Turkmen and Romanian cuisine.The exhibition is open till the end of September 2019.
