10.08.2017 | Turkmenistan’s Central Bank issues commemorative coins to mark the 2017 Asian Games

The Central Bank of Turkmenistan has issued a set of two commemorative coins (gold and silver) in denomination of 100 manats each to mark the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games.

The obverse of the commemorative coins bears the symbol of the upcoming Games.In the right-hand bottom corner, there is an embossed inscription that reads: “Türkmenistan Ashgabat 2017”, the inscription on the left-hand side says: “5th Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games”.

On top and at the bottom, the coins carry the following inscriptions respectively: “Ýapyk binalarda we söweş sungaty boýunça V Aziýa oýunlary” and “Aşgabat 2017”.On the reverse, the coins bear an embossment of the State Emblem of Turkmenistan with a semicircular inscription above “TÜRKMENISTANYŇ MERKEZI BANKY”.

The lettering “ÝÜZ MANAT” indicates their face value.On the left-hand side, the coins have a hallmark stamp.
