President of Turkmenistan received Chairman of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, who arrived in Turkmenistan to take part in the First Caspian Economic Forum.
Expressing gratitude for the opportunity of a personal meeting, the guest reaffirmed the interest of Turkish businessmen in widening bilateral partnership.Highly evaluating Turkmenistan’s active position in the development of international cooperation, in particular in the economic sector, Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized the importance of the First Caspian Economic Forum for the stable development of the countries in the region and establishment of efficient business relations.
Thanking for the kind words, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov underlined that Turkmenistan paid particular attention to strengthening fruitful cooperation with all interested sides, including Turkish partners.The Turkmen leader and his guest exchanged views on the prospects of cooperation.
According to the President of Turkmenistan, taking a course towards industrialization, our state built up a modern industrial infrastructure, applied innovations, advanced technologies and developments in practice.Special importance is attached to the implementation of state programmes on import substitution and increase of the export potential of the national economy with a focus on the diversification of its industries and production of various competitive products based on local raw materials.
In this context, the sides discussed the possibilities for increasing bilateral trade turnover, expanding ties between the business structures of the two countries.At the same time, it was underlined the necessity to intensify the work of the Turkmen-Turkish Business Council, organize exhibitions and joint business forums.
Expressing gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for the confidence placed in him, the businessman reaffirmed the aspiration of Turkish business circles to participate in large-scale infrastructure projects launched in Turkmenistan.
