06.01.2019 | Prime Minister of Japan expresses the gratitude to Turkmen leader for support in the election of Osaka for EXPO 2025

It is a great honour for me to inform Your Excellency that Osaka Kansai has been elected as a place for the World Exhibition EXPO 2025 at the elections, which were held during the Bureau International des Expositions General Assembly in Paris.

On behalf of the Government of Japan, let me extend my gratitude for Turkmenistan’s support, - the message of Prime Minister of Japan Sinzo Abe to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov says.

Being the place of coming G20 Summit, Osaka plays key role in the economy of western Japan we are proud of it cultural and tourist resources, hospitality, which Your Excellency will be able to experience in Osaka Kensai.

I am confident that participation of Turkmenistan in EXPO 2025 will give an excellent opportunity to introduce the culture and business of your country to the world and to expand its potential in the future.

Japan starts the preparation to the EXPO 2025 to provide organized work based on gained experience.For achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals by EXPO 2025 in Osaka Kansai, we would like to work together with Turkmenistan in order to make future society discussing and testing different solutions during the World Exhibition.
