04.12.2018 | Turkmen capital hosts International exhibition of import substitutive production technologies

International exhibition of import substitutive production technologies organized by the Trade and Industrial Chamber of Turkmenistan has started its work in Çandybil shopping centre of the capital.The review is to demonstrate the success and perspective of national market I import substitution sphere as well as advanced practice and innovative development of foreign producer of industrial equipment, which are interested in long-term cooperation with Turkmen partners.

Members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, which delegation has visited Cairo recently for participation in the second session of Intergovernmental Turkmen Egyptian Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation and first business forum, demonstrate their production at the exhibition.

Representative of the UIET noted in the conversation with TDH correspondent that during the talks with colleagues from friendly country, key aspects of cooperation have been discussed, which resulted in the Memorandum of Understanding between local company Nurly Meýdan and Egyptian One World.

Current review visually demonstrates the success of Turkmen manufacturers as well as introduces advanced equipment of the world companies, which are willing to offer their technological innovations for improvement of the potential in high quality import substitutive and export oriented production.

There are more than 90 exhibitors government and private structures of our country, companies from Europe and CIS, among the participants of profile exhibition.Representatives of different ministries and departments, diplomatic corps accredited in Turkmenistan, public organization, local and foreign business, mass media took part in the opening ceremony.

Considerable part of the exposition is dedicated to one of priority directions of development of Turkmen business establishment of import substitutive industrial and agricultural facilities based on introduction of technological innovations to production.

Production of baby food, fruit and vegetable concentrates, juices, mayonnaise, ice-cream, canned food, fish delicacies, yoghurts, sausages, various confectionary is arranged based on environmentally friendly local materials.There is wide variety of fruits, vegetables, melons grown in agricultural fields and hothouse farms, which received active development.

Excellent gift sets of Turkmen textile and silk carpets, household items and children toys made of plastic produced from local polypropylene were presented to the visitors.Taking into account the requirements of rapidly growing Turkmen market, foreign exhibitors prepared considerable package of proposals on packing of ready-made products as well as offered the samples of equipment for production of various bags including vacuum packs.

Number of documents has been signed at the exhibition.In particular, the contract for delivery of sun flower seeds for growing in Turkmenistan has been signed between Gündogar Akymy Business entity, which participates in construction of facilities for vegetable oil production, and Swiss Syngenta Agro AG.

In addition, Agzybir Ojak business entity signed the contracts on procurement of equipment for production of bottles and agreement on provision and installation of equipment for bottling of refined oil with Turkish ERENSOY Gida Ve Ambalaj Makinalari San.

Ve Tic.Ltd. Şti and EKTAM Makine San. Ýe Tic.A.S..Meeting, during which further directions of trade and economic cooperation, establishment of direct contacts between the manufacturers, making of joint ventures with participation of foreign companies, took place during the exhibition.
