In his address to President of Turkmenistan, President of the National Olympic Committee of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of the Olympic Council of Asia Sheikh Ahmed Al-Fahad Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah congratulated the Turkmen leader on the upcoming 25th anniversary of neutrality of Turkmenistan and noted that the Olympic Council of Asia accepted the proposal of Turkmenistan to host the General Assembly of Olympic Commission of Asia in 2023-2025 and the sessions of the OCA Executive Committee.

Taking this opportunity, Sheikh Ahmed Al-Fahad Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah expressed his sincere gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for the support in the development of the Olympic movement in the country.

The President of the Olympic Council of Asia also suggested the President of Turkmenistan to consider an opportunity to host the VII Asian Beach Games in the Avaza National tourism zone in 2023.

According to Sheikh Ahmed Al-Fahad Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah the organization of the VII Asian Beach Games in Avaza will have a great impact on the further development of this zone and will attract a huge number of visitors and tourists to Avaza in the future.

This sporting event will also become an integral part of the legacy of the Olympic Movement in Turkmenistan.

Expressing high respect and best wishes to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the President of the Olympic Council of Asia wished further prosperity to our country.
