“I congratulate you on the International Children's Day!Children, whom we are so proud and love - this generation is to increase the country's authority in the international arena.

This year, held under the motto “Turkmenistan - the Motherland of Prosperity”, we widely celebrate the International Children's Day as a holiday testifying to our adherence to the basic principles of the United Nations regarding the rights and interests of children, the care for the younger generation”, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed to his compatriots. “Musical and cultural events will be held throughout the country in honor of this international holiday.

Musical festivities, concerts and competitions in various sports will be organized in the picturesque corner of our beautiful nature - Gökdere, in the Avaza National Tourist Zone, which is popular all over the world, as well as in children's health and entertainment centers in other regions of the country.

Children will sing, dance, recite poetry, delighting the audience with their talents in frames of these festive events. “Our people have created invaluable rules and family traditions of educating intelligent, physically healthy, noble, educated and talented young people.

For centuries, this invaluable legacy passed on from generation to generation has served as the foundation of national education.We attach great importance to bringing a physically and spiritually healthy, highly moral generation with a broad outlook”, the message says. “Successfully pursuing a policy in accordance with international norms and humanistic traditions, we build modern kindergartens, schools, sports and recreation complexes, recreation areas in all regions of our dynamically developing country, ensuring harmonious development of our children. “Turkmenistan is a state that consistently and successfully implements the Sustainable Development Goals proclaimed by the United Nations.

We attach particular importance to the consolidation of efforts and effective cooperation with the world community, in particular, within the framework of the United Nations and other international organizations to protect children's health and rights, educate them based on the moral and democratic principles of humanity, protect the rights and interests of women and children “In this context, our independent state acceded to a number of fundamental international legal acts, including the World Declaration on the Survival, Protection and Development of Children, the UN Convention on the Protection of Children's Rights.

As a member of the Executive Board of the United Nations Children's Fund for 20182020 and the Commission on the Statute of Women for 20182022, Turkmenistan carries out ambitious work to protect children's health, their quality education, and ensure social security. “In addition, our country implements joint projects to promote the principles of a healthy lifestyle, organizes seminars and meetings.
